Cortisa Star Chicago Concert reviews
Sober much?
I drove 5 hours to go see Cortisa Star without a doubt has the talent to perform an amazing show live. Oddly enough, after his obvious intoxication and various ramblings about his life inbetween songs they are "postponing" 12 shows. Another thing that struck me as odd, they waited over an hour to start their performance after BRMC finished their set. Even with Scott's behavior he could still sing and perform well enough to keep me entertained and I still have respect for STP as a band. That being said..Scott Weiland's drunkeness was a little disappointing and brought the bands whole vibe down. I'm assuming they may have been under a time limit considering the venue is in a "residential/business" area and because of this the only played a limited number of songs and left out a few big hits from their past albums. "Dead and Bloated", "Creep", "Sour Girl", "All in the suit that you wear" were all left out of their setlist. I'm hoping to catch another one of their shows that they are planning on rescheduling. The only reason i say this is because from things ive read about their previous performances prior to this show have been great. Let me state again that STP still has the talent to perform great live, I just wish Scott hadn't drank as much before the show.
